Keep tadpole losses to a minimum with the perfect supplementary food for these vulnerable baby frogs and toads.
After six weeks tadpoles start to develop limbs. Their diet changes considerably to a predominantly carnivorous diet. These specially-formulated pellets provide a small amount of plant extracts and cereals blended with insect larvae and Daphnia water fleas which help them develop well and keep them alert to predators as the tadpoles start to explore the pond and water environment.
Watch tadpoles turn into adult frogs and toads; British amphibians that make up an important part of our UK wildlife, keeping garden pest numbers down like slugs as well as decomposing dead matter.
Digestible pellets are ideal to supplement the diets of developing tadpoles, just before they reach the froglet stage. Feed once or twice daily with a sprinkling of these pellets.
